- INFOhio Early Learning Portal (Note: URL will change once live: remove "new" in www)
- Projected launch: Early December
- The INFOhio Early Learning Portal is for parents and educators of children ages three through five. To prepare Ohio’s early learners for school and their future, INFOhio encourages adults to use the digital resources with children, providing guidance and support.
- You can trust the reliability of the resources in the portal. Each website and app in the portal was selected and evaluated by librarians and educators using this rubric All resources align with the Ohio Early Learning Standards.
- The INFOhio Early Learning Portal was made possible by a partnership with the Ohio Department of Education, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, and the Office of Governor John Kasich. Please visit INFOhio for more information about resources for early learning or Bold Beginning! for more information on services and resources for families with young children.

Tips for Genrefying Your Collection Using Workflows
"How To" Procedure
infohio_genre-fying_your_library.gdoc |
- Notify NEOMIN for help with this project by opening a help desk ticket by emailing: [email protected]
- Review "INFOhio Genre Codes" and provide NEOMIN with your selected genre codes so genre policies can be entered into Workflows.
- Decide if the Call Number should change; if so, submit to NEOMIN the desired prefix for each genre. Consider using a prefix 'connector' in your call number...
- Within Workflows, the Librarian opens Cataloging>> Global Item Modify wizard to change the item’s genre to the desired choice and change library location to DISTRICT by scanning each item in a single genre.
- NEOMIN batch updates copies’ call number to reflect new genre and moves copies back to original library.
- NEOMIN can send librarian a PDF file of the new spine labels (in shelf order!) to print and apply to their books. Librarian can also print this report.
Remember to Update Vendor Specifications, if desired
You may choose to have the vendor populate the genre field and change it, if desired, after the records are loaded into Workflow.
