Vendor Loads - Genre Field


NOTE TO LIBRARY STAFF:

- Vendor load processing (OHvendorload.sh) is not set up to change the call number based on a genre.

- The vendor will need to include the new call number prefix in the MARC file they send you as well as including the INFOhio genre code in the 852 subfield f.

- If the vendor includes the call number but not the genre code in 852 subfield f, then the OHvendorloads.sh will not assign a genre, the library staff will have to do that using Global Item Modify.


NOTE TO NEOMIN SUPPORT: 

- Entries with new call number prefixes will need entries in the itc.section3 file.
